Flat Top Grilled Asparagus
Grilled asparagus is one of the easiest and best vegetables to grill and, it's even easier when you do it on a flat top griddle gas grill.

Preheat the grill to 400 degrees. Clean the asparagus and trim off the bottom 1 1/2 inches on each spear.

Place the asparagus spears in a deep plate. Add the EVOO and toss the spears until well coated. Sprinkle with garlic powder.

Squirt or spray your oil of choice (I use avocado oil) onto the griddle and place the asparagus onto the oiled area.

Cook about 3 to 4 minutes, flip with a spatula. After about 3 to 4 minutes char marks begin to develop and it is time to remove the spears from the griddle.

Place the grilled asparagus spears in a deep plate and sprinkle them with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and lemon pepper. Serve and enjoy!
